Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis in Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. She received her cumlaude degree from The University of Missouri Columbia with a degree in Communications and Theater. After moving to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in stage, choreographing and acting in over two dozen shows. This included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly was also able to land film and television roles, while continuing her improv studies with The Groundlings. Her unique voice and petite stature has allowed her to play a variety of bright characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's evil Samara from The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the part of the paralegal as well as a the party animal in TV Land's The Exes in the role of a series regular between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, she played Alyssa's sassy sexpert sibling in ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the show on CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the mother of a stressed suburban family. She's lent her soprano singing voice to a variety of cartoons like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Most recently she can be seen as the dim but charming Cloud 9 employee on NBC's hit comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet life that's quite quiet having two kids younger than five years old. She loves to sew and write and volunteers for various school functions.
