Baker was born on the 22nd of April, 1990, at Houston Texas U.S. to the family of English Scottish and German ancestry, is renowned for his distinct method of rapping. As a child Baker, he spent a good period of his time on the road with his parents who were missionaries. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed as Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Then, Baker and his father relocated to Denver where they lived together with his father's aunt. Baker was bullied by other children because of his lack of wealth. After he was in sixth grade, Baker was able to learn rap. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born on April 22 on the 22nd of April, 1990 in Texas. In his music, he is well known for his ability to mix hip-hop style modern with rock. Baker was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2010 and released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. The Cleveland rapper who delivered songs at the speed of a speeding bullet experienced an explosive rise when, 2011 was the year he switched from self-released mixtapes to established label. The following years saw each album of his came in at #10 on the chart.
